About the collection

Nancybird’s latest HOME collection sprung from a series of paintings by founder Emily Wright based on small travels – along coastlines, along inland waterways and walks through ancient escarpments. The idea of painting different aspects of these landscapes, and then pairing them together in your home appealed to Emily. Allowing you to create your own harmonious patchwork of pieces unique to you. Small Travels invites you to explore the coastlines of South Gippsland, inland waterways and walks through ancient escarpments of the Grampians and drop into Western Australia too. Discover a sojourn of hand painted landscapes, still life and geometric designs, alongside hand stitched quilting and woven stripes made by our artisan partners in India.

Kantha Quilt – Still Life: The Still Life painting by Emily Wright brings our coastal and inland story together – with its overflowing vase of wattle, banksia, flannel flower, paper daisies and gumnuts sitting on a shelf next to a framed painting of a boat sailing through rough seas. This beautiful hand stitched Kantha quilt is made from organic cotton perfect for the end of your bed or a winter throw on the couch. Made responsibly in India by a SEDEX approved maker.

Pillow Cases: The Nancybird pillowcases are made from a GOTS certified organic cotton percale in a 200 thread count, using AZO free inks.
