You read correctly. The owner of Sunshine Coast’s Grass Roots Boutique has decided to part with her beloved business to make room for other endeavours, and she’s literally giving away the boutique.
The Marcoola shop front and online store on Queensland’s east coast prides itself in sourcing and showcasing ethically produced Australian brands – which could all be yours if you’re the lucky winner of the random-drawn raffle.
Brands (AKA existing stock that could be yours) include Lilya, Snorklebear, The Travelling Kimono, Carlyle the Label, and Cloth and Hide – all ethically made, Australian-owned labels.
Here’s the details
The boutique is up for grabs to one lucky winner of the raffle. The boutique is worth $25,000 (full breakdown below), and the raffle tickets are $49 each.
The raffle tickets/Grass Roots vouchers are available to purchase through the Grass Roots online store.
Every ticket is redeemable for a Grass Roots reusable tote, manufactured from recyclable, eco-friendly material, which needs to be picked up from the store at Waiting for Huey’s Cafe – 4a/25 Seaside Blvd, Marcoola QLD 4564.
PLUS $2 from every sale is being donated to the incredible One Girl Charity “Do it in a dress” – a program that helps keep girls in developing countries in school for longer.

The competition is only open to Queensland residents for obvious reasons (although I’m sure if you’re willing to move you may still be eligible to enter), and entries close 31 January 2019.
